New car price watch

Nissan Navara ST-X Blackline Edition
The new Nissan Navara ST-X Blackline Edition 4x4 dual-cab model comes with a claimed $7000 worth of other extra equipment. Priced at $54,888 drive-away, it undercuts the regular ST-X ($57,290 plus on-roads) and ST-X 550 ($63,390 plus on-roads) by thousands.
The added bits include a genuine Nissan nudge-bar, driving lights, tow-bar and wiring kit, tub-liner, sports bar, tonneau cover, floor mats, a reversing camera and sat-nav system. Metallic paint is a no-cost option, too.
It’s powered by the range-topping 3.0-litre turbo diesel V6 with 170kW of power and 550Nm of torque, with selectable four-wheel-drive and a seven-speed automatic transmission

Another special edition model from Nissan is the Micra Plus model, which is priced at $17,990 drive-away.
The Micra Plus is based on the outgoing 1.5-litre four-cylinder ST-L model (which is usually priced at $15,490 plus on-roads for the manual), but adds a four-speed automatic transmission, rear parking sensors, free metallic paint, an Apple iPad Mini and auxiliary cable.
The soon-to-be-replaced Pathfinder gets the special treatment, too. The Pathfinder Adventure model is priced at $56,990 drive-away, a big saving over the regular ST-L model on which it’s based (usually $56,890 plus on-roads).
Extras include sat-nav, a DVD player, nudge-bar, tow-bar, bonnet protector, roof bars, and a cooler box for long distance trips. Buyers can choose manual or automatic for this model.
